How to Make 10 in two Minutes on the Net
Reality check - Not going to happen overnight!
Sure, you will be promised $10 (or more) in two minutes on a multitude of Internet sites- but actually getting paid? Definitely not in two minutes, because the legitimate opportunities require you to accumulate income over time, generally to a payout threshold. So although $10 can eventually be “earned” in two minutes, it usually takes longer to be physically paid.
Here is a list of some of the different mediums where others may tell you “quick and easy money” can be achieved, and the provisos that delay or prevent it from happening:
(1) Paid to Read or Paid to Click. I have randomly chosen the following four:
Hits4Pay. Yes, they do credit your account with $10 on joining, but you need to accumulate $25 before you can touch it, and at 2 cents per Email, and a time lapse between emails, you do the maths!
Inbox dollars. Here you are required to accrue $30 before you can apply for a check- and then a $3 check processing fee is deducted. However, this site is restricted to US residents only, so we folk in the rest of the World cannot “jump on the gravy train” in any event.
Send earnings. Offers a sign up bonus of $5 - and you can earn $25 by joining Bingo Cabin. The catch is you must make a deposit first. Outlaying money is part of most of their “offers”.
Snap dollars. $5 Credit on signing up, and joining the Doubleday Book Club as well pays $10. However, you have to pay to join the Book Club and, in fact, of the $25 required before a payout, at least $15 must be made on offers (which cost you), not just reading emails.
(2) Online Paid Surveys. In my opinion completing paid surveys from Online Market Research Panels is a reliable way of making money online. That is once you have established the legitimate and reputable survey sites. Contrary to what you may see on some bogus sites, all legitimate survey sites are free to join. However, no matter how proficient one becomes, survey taking should never be considered as a full time occupation.
There are many helpful articles here at Helium if you want to get started, including“How to find names of Survey Companies”and “Websites that pay you to take surveys.”
However, even the best of these, such asPureprofile, NEVER offer $10 for a two minute survey! The unscrupulous sites that make these outlandish claims (and generally demand a membership fee as well) should be avoided like the plague.
(3) Writing Sites - such as Helium and Associated Content:
FirstlyHelium, this site, where I am obviously a member. For intellectual stimulation, irrespective of financial reward, I thoroughly recommend it. But even if you are far more gifted than me, and able to reel off a 400+ word article in two minutes, you will not receive $10 for it. From personal experience, I believe Helium is the best place to start for a beginner.
If you are thinking of joining, I encourage you to read the article “How to get started as a new writer to Helium" to discover everything you need to know.
SecondlyAssociated Content. Similar to Helium, but not for me because I am not a citizen or legal resident of the US. Subsequently I am not eligible for Upfront Payments. That means Performance Payments of $1.50 per 1,000 page views is the only reward available- no thanks!
(4) Creating a website or blog and advertising.
Free sites such asBloggerandWebswill assist you in creating your own website or blog, it is then up to you to provide content with SEO and draw people to your site. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the key factor in drawing volume and quality of traffic to your site. The higher your site lands in the rankings, the more visitors you will get.
VisitAdsense,KonteraandAdbriteto organize your advertising and you have created a revenue stream. Once again, patience is required as this revenue accumulates.
Basically it all gets back to the old adage - “If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.” Money can be made quickly online, but as with most things in life, you have to earn it. $10 in two minutes equates to $300 an hour – this is not going to happen without considerable groundwork. To quote a past tennis ace “You cannot be serious”.
