How do you Level up at Blogmutt
When writing forBlogmutt, writers have the opportunity to earn points which then allow them to move up in levels. As writers move up in levels, they are rewarded for their efforts. Rewards include things like a badge for their LinkedIn page, a Blogmutt polo shirt, and even becoming a co-owner of the company. How do people get points so they can level-up, though? The ways to do this can be summed-up into four categories.
Do a blog post
Getting started is as simple as writing a blog post to one client. Once a writer has written one blog post, the writer has earned enough points to be on Level 1, which gives the writer access to the Forum, where he or she can interact with other Blogmutt writers. This is an opportunity for writers to talk about issues they are having with their writing, to brag about writing accomplishments, and to get to know other writers a little better.
Even after the initial post, for every blog post submitted, writers get two points. Be careful, though. This does not give writers the freedom to write a bunch of subpar posts just for the points. Blogmutt has the right to get rid of writers who are regularly writing posts which are being rejected by the customers. Writers who are going for quantity rather than quality are not going to find themselves as Blogmutt writers for long.
Do a post for a new client
Writers also get bonus points for writing for a new client. Writers do not have to necessarily be the first to write for a new client, but they do have to among the first to write for that client if they want to get bonus points. This is to encourage writers to welcome in the new clients and to give the new clients a wider range of options for their blog posts.
Get a blog purchased
The ultimate goal of every Blogmutt writer should be to get their blog post accepted by the client and posted on the client’s web site. Writers are not making money until the articles are purchased anyway. Any article purchased by a client is worth 20 points for the writer.
Get a high ranking
Customers have the option of rating writers’ posts from one to five stars. Any post which gets five stars gives the writer bonus points, which results in the writer moving up in levels quicker. Of course, not every client is going to rate in the same way. For some clients, a five star rating might be something they give out once in a while, and it might not be a rare experience. For others, a post with five stars might be something they feel are way above what they expected. Writers could choose to go for the clients who have given out more five star ratings, but if points are the writer’s main goal, he or she is not getting the best out of the writing experience.
Ultimately, the best way for a writer to move up in levels is for the writer to not be afraid to expand his or her horizons and write for new companies. Writers never know what they can and will gain from writing about new topics unless they are willing to take the risk. Like many things, the payoff is worth the risk in the end.
