Giving Flowers for every Occassion as an Expression of Love
Reasons for giving people flowers are as numerous as there are people on the planet earth. Every person can think of a reason to give someone else flowers. There are a plethora of reasons for giving people flowers, but it all boils down to making another person feel good.
You give another person flowers because it is a holiday tradition such as for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, or for a birthday. Flowers can be given for any number of reasons, besides giving flowers for certain holidays, birthdays, and special occasions, flowers can be given for the following reasons:
Giving flowers to celebrate an anniversary
Many times flowers are given from one member of a couple to another to commemorate their time spent together. In celebration of a wedding anniversary or of how long a couple has been together is often when flowers are sent from a man to a woman. Women are sending their life partners flowers in celebration of a wedding anniversary, as are couples in same sex relationships. Flowers are also sent to couples from their friends and relatives as a loving gesture when a couple reaches a milestone anniversary.
Having a baby
Many times when a woman has a baby the doorbell will ring numerous times as well wishers send beautiful flowers to the new mom after she has her baby. Sometimes people will bring flowers to the hospital extending love, and happiness to the new parents upon the birth of their new bundle of joy.
Sending flowers in a gesture of sympathy
When something bad happens in a person's life such as the death of a loved one, flowers are traditionally sent as a gesture of love, and sympathy. Usually flowers are placed next to a casket at the wake of a recently deceased member of a family. Flowers are also given to people as a method of showing how much they love you and support you in your difficult time. That is why people give flowers to other people who are in the hospital. This helps brighten a sick person's outlook when flowers are sent to their hospital room, or their home.
Romance and Love
A man sends a woman flowers to her home or place of business because he loves her. A man or a woman may bring flowers on a date to give to the other person as a loving gesture, or perhaps a friendly gesture. It's a nice thing to do! It's also a romantic thing to do. When a man shows up at a woman's door carrying flowers, usually the woman says, "Oh, how beautiful."
I'm sorry!
Sending flowers to another person can be a wonderful way of saying, "I'm sorry." You may want to follow up with a phone call explaining just how sorry you really are, because if you don't the angry person may throw out your gesture of good will. Many times though by giving flowers to another person will express the sorrow you feel.
Celebration
Giving someone you love flowers for a yearly celebration such as a birthday, an anniversary, remembrance of a first date, or for Mother's Day, is a beautiful gesture. Giving flowers to a graduating senior from high school or college is also a wonderful way to say, "Congratulations!" For all of the celebrations in life, flowers are a beautiful, elegant manner in which to say "I'm proud of you." When a couple gets married, flowers are placed at the wedding ceremony and at the reception as decorations, guiding the newlyweds into their future life together. You can give someone flowers because they received an important promotion at work.
Giving flowers from your garden or from a florist will make a person feel happier. Flowers can be utilized at almost every occasion, such as a birthday, a traditional holiday, or just because you feel like giving someone flowers to make their day brighter. Flowers are still a lovely method of getting your point across.
