Ferrari F430 Scuderia is actually a sportier version of Ferrari F430, as the engine power is raised from 360kw to 375kw. There are also other differences like front bumper design and updated electronics. The car's outlook is quite much similar to F430, and the main difference is two grey stripes in the hood. Car is of course red, although it can be colored in other colors if customer so wishes. Even the smallest details, including side mirrows are designed in the wind tunnel. It seems that everything has been done completely and with high quality.
The same line continues inside the car. Nearly everything, including steering wheel and the seats, are colored with black or grey. Only the speedometer is yellow, with Ferrari logo in it. The seats, made from carbon fiber, are tight, but comfortable. Dashboard is covered with all kinds of buttons. Although the transmission is manual (with two clutches), you can change it to automatic from one of the buttons.
As the car is started, the first thing to be heard is beautiful basso sound of the engine. This sound is without doubt one of the best sides of Ferrari F430 scuderia. The car starts moving softly, like a real sport car has to. The transmission is very fine and accurate. If the transmission is so good, where is the second clutch needed? My opinion is that it's there simply to make car more expensive (Brand new Ferrari F430 scuderia costs something like 300 000 dollars!). As the speed rises, handling becomes even better. If you wish to drive really fast, you can choose the "race" mode from one of the buttons in the dashboard. This will make the suspension stiffer and you can reach much higher speeds. In this mode the acceleration is just incredible. If you wanted to drive more slowly, looking countryside, for example, you can choose the "comfort" mode from the dashboard. In this mode suspension is softer and driving is more comfortable in slow speeds. Was the speed and mode whatever, driving (and engine sound) is just about perfect.
It looks like Ferrari has done a really good car, a perfect combination of sport and touring car. It's not only great in the track, but splendid on the road. So if you had $300 000 spare cash, Ferrari F430 scuderia is one of the best reasons to spend it.
