Some people would have you believe that since more gas is purchased during the summer months those people should pay more of it. That is, if those people want to have a driving vacation, instead of just going to work as they have for the entire year.

You see, it's the perceived notion in economics that if there is less of a product, people who do buy that product should pay more for it. That's nothing more than economic discrimination and a clever way to charge more for the product. That kind of pricing method excludes those who also require that product but can't afford to buy that product.

The rising price of fossil fuels is no better example of the economic extortion being committed by the owners and the controllers of those huge multinational oil companies. They deliberately closed dozens of crude oil refineries within the United States of America and, together with the help of market speculators, raised the price of gasoline and other petroleum products more than 300% within a very short time.

That's why gasoline cost about 45 cents per gallon in Saudi Arabia and about 4 dollars here in the United States of America. As a matter of fact, within some places in Africa you can buy gasoline for as little as 12 cents per gallon. We pay more so that those oil companies can sell their gas cheaper in other places. Such is the case for those multinational drug companies.

When will the elected politicians within the Government and the people of the United States of America wise up and stop financing the criminal behavior of the richest people on Earth? So too, legalized economic extortion is just one of the problems that our elected politicians need to resolve for the good of the majority of "We People of the United States of America."

As a matter of fact, the coming depression, together with the problem of the resulting spiraling inflation, is the worst thing that can happen to the people within any society within any Country within the entire World. Clearly, we need a new batch of elected politicians who are willing to take positive control of the situation and put those prices back to pre 2001 levels for the good of every person on Earth, not for just the richest people on Earth.

It certainly is quite clear to me that the elected politicians within the offices of the grand and glorious Government buildings within the United States of America are supporting the legalized extortion of each and every multinational corporation and you now see the result of that behavior. Who will you vote for in 2008? More important, who will you vote out of Public Office in 2008?
