Experience with Lightspeed Panel UK a Survey Site

From 3arf

Another day, another dollar, and another review on where to earn some extra pennies on the 'net. So, if you haven't guessed it yet, Lightspeed Panel is a survey site which offers us mere mortals the chance to earn money for airing our views and opinions on the subjects of their choosing. According to the website's 'about us' page, this gives you the opportunity to 'develop and improve products and services.' What it fails to mention is perhaps the most important part, the financial rewards!Signing up is the same as with most survey sites. You can sign up via the homepage and according to the FAQs, sign-up takes less than 5 minutes. You'll be sent a link to your email address to activate you account and then you're ready to get completing surveys and pocketing some dosh.Earning at Lightspeed is relatively easy. As with most survey sites, you'll receive an email to notify you of a new survey that you may be eligible for. Then you simply log into your account and follow the links to access the survey. It's all very much self-explanatory and the website is simple to navigate. Most of the surveys offer 110 Lightspeed points if you complete them, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. You'll find each survey takes about 20 minutes to complete from start to finish. I receive on average 3-5 invitations per week. The downside is that I often don't qualify for them. After entering my basic demographics, I often find I'm screened out. This usually earns you entries into a prize draw but I've yet to hit the jackpot there. If you do qualify and complete the survey, the points appear in your account instantly. You can check your Lightspeed points account through the website when you're logged into your account and you can also order your rewards in the online shop. Rewards range from charity donations, to Amazon vouchers, Paypal payments, tools, toys and more. £1 in your Paypal account will set you back 115 points, a £5 Amazon voucher costs 550 points and a £5 paper voucher for WH Smith is 790 points. There's plenty to choose from but hopefully that gives you some idea of the points to goodies ratio.Whilst it isn't the most lucrative of survey sites, you can earn some extra money for the rainy day fund by completing a couple of surveys each week. The topics are rarely thought provoking or mind-blowingly interesting, but the extra money comes in handy. I've ordered a few Amazon vouchers and also payments by Paypal and the rewards tend to arrive in about 5 days. The biggest negative is the number of surveys I get screened out of but there aren't many survey sites where this doesn't happen so it comes with the territory. All in all, it's a handy site to be a member of if you like to earn while you surf.
