Everyone is self Employed
What is your motivation for working? If you are working to make money to help you afford the lifestyle you want to lead, you are not alone. Most people are working because they need to be able to pay for food, utilities, clothing, and to support their hobbies. Due to the fluctuating economy and increase in technology, more people are exploring self-employment opportunitiesto earn money on a part-time or full-time basis. Self-employment is not always taught in schools, but the reality is that each and every living person has the job of doing whatever they can do to put themselves ahead. If you feel hungry it is your job to find food and feed yourself to satisfy your hunger cravings. If you are hungry for an income it is your job to create income opportunities for yourself.
Your boss doesn’t write your own paycheck; YOU write your paycheck. Your efforts to improve your employment situation can only come from you. If you are looking for work opportunities it is your responsibility to write your resume, draft a cover letter, seek out employers, and attend job interviews. No one else can do those things for you. Even if you were to hire a career coach it is still your job and responsibility to hire the coach and follow his or her advice. When you get hired for a job and you want to climb up the corporate ladder it is your job to encourage yourself to prove yourself to your employer and convince him or her to give you the promotion that you deserve.
There is a job and responsibility for each person living on earth. It is your job to figure out what your purpose is. You need to work towards accomplishing your hopes and dreams. Self-employment is about working towards a legacy that you can feel proud to call your own. If the legacy you desire is to make 6 figures a year you need to find a way that you can accomplish your dream. In order to earn money you need to be reaching people who will invest in your career as customers, employers, or clients. Most self-employed people attend networking events to promote themselves and their businesses. If you work for an employer and you want to be promoted it is important that you network too. Don’t miss any company events if you can help it. Attend the Christmas parties, luncheons, business meetings and any event where your boss and co-workers will be socializing. Your boss will notice if you are taking initiative on the job and making an effort to be a part of the team, and you can be rewarded.
If you want a promotion you have to be willing to work for it. Success will only come to you if you think like a motivated, self-employed person who believes in him or herself. You have everything to gain by thinking like a self-employed person even if you are not self-employed. Self-employed people are forced to be self-starters because they are solely responsible for monitoring their efforts and producing income. Self-employed people need to hustle; always thinking two steps ahead and understanding that the only way to achieve success is to believe in it, pursue it, and to set achievable goals. Think like a winner; what would you do if you knew that you would not fail? If you want to achieve success in your career you need to approach your career as though you have nothing to lose.
