Remembering that the one totally unforgiving aspect of "time" is that you can never get it back, makes considering other options a must.Of course it doesn't have to be that way. The work you've done, particularly written work, tends to blur the mind after reading it time and time again. Mistakes will be ignored because the brain starts to see what it is expecting to see and not what is actually there.Enter "The Proofreader" The act of Proofreading itself is to comprehensively check documents searching for Spelling errors, Grammatical inconsistencies, Punctuation / Hyphenation, unwanted Tautologies, Americanisms, Referencing, Style and Presentation and much more besides....It is a spell-checking nightmare that Microsoft Word and other word processors like it, can leave behind many mistakes in documents. This is true particularly where several writers have had input to the same document.
