Empolyment
Suddenly losing your job is almost worse than dying. As a matter of fact, several people were so unhappy that they killed their former boss and other employees where they were employed, including themselves.
After working so many years, weeks or months as a loyal employee for an employer who could care less if you live or die, you suddenly find yourself cleaning out your desk, locker and/or workstation and subsequently out the door of your former place of employment for the last time. Too bad for you, but you made a mistake or your employer was forced to reduce the payroll because of failing economic conditions.
You are really upset and now you come to understand why some fired or laid-off employees go back to their former place of employment and kill everyone in sight. That is no better reason why every employer should think twice before he or she decides to reduce the labor force of the business. You can also believe that a dead boss will not live to regret his or her decision to fire you, or any other person.
Be that as it may, you must focus your attention on finding another full time job as soon as you can. In the main, you realize that you have too much to lose if you do not find a means to earn a living and you certainly do not want to spend the rest of your life in a prison or executed for just trying to get even with a rotten employer. Then again, you are probably insane if you simply go on a Kamikaze mission because you might, in the short term, believe that your good life is over forever.
That rotten boss might actually give you an excellent job reference when your prospective new employer checks the references that you provide in your resume. Keep in mind that your work history follows you forever. It is a record of your employment history and the length of your employment for every job that you ever had.
Was your former employer kind enough to give you two weeks in which to put you life in order and allow you to search for another job before your employment ends? Were you just told that you were fired and that you should leave the workplace as soon as possible? Was it really your fault that you were fired on the spot or given a day or two to make your final exit? Well, there are many reasons why you lost your job, some of which might never be known to you.
Instead of thinking about what went wrong, maybe it would be a good idea to celebrate your job lost by getting stinky drunk, knowing full well that you will have new opportunities ahead of you to take pert in? That job and the way you lived during that time is mostly over. Just say good-bye and get on with living as best as you can.
Like it or not, it is too late to consider what went wrong. Your primary goal now is to get another job at a rate of pay that will allow you to remain healthy and alive. Since there is usually a waiting period between the time that you file for unemployment compensation and when you will receive your first unemployment compensation check you should go the the unemployment office within your community as soon as you can. Every little bit helps when you have to pay a mortgage or rent and the resulting utility bills each month.
Keep in mind that those charge card companies will most certainly add interest and penalties to the amount owed to each of them should you be unable to make those monthly payments. Believe it or not, your life does not come to an end just because you lost your job. Do not feel sorry for yourself and get stinky drunk or just cry and do nothing more, besides kill yourself when all of your money is gone and you are about to become homeless. Some say that being homeless is truly worse than death, but who in their mind really wants to die? You surely do not want to be on the street with nothing to eat.
Therefore, it should be your new full time job to find another full time job for as long as it takes to become honestly employed again. Do not waste your money for things that you can do without. Do not watch television or otherwise waste your time doing anything besides finding a job.
