From 3arf

There is an abundance of easy Easter crafts you can make with your children. Many of these Easter crafts for kids can be made with commonly available craft supplies. Be sure to stock up on craft supplies before you get started. For these craft projects, you'll need Easter baskets, tape, glue, crayons, Easter egg dye, paper lunch sacks, craft foam, chenille stems, pom poms, construction paper in spring colors.

Easy Easter Bunny Craft for Children

You can easily create an Easter bunny bag craft to hold all your child's Easter treats and toys. Get some white paper lunch bags, some white and pink construction paper, some pink craft foam and white and pink chenille stems. Draw and cut out two white bunny ears and two pink bunny ears as you did in the Easter basket craft project. Make sure they will fit on your lunch bag before cutting them out. Glue them onto the front of the Easter bunny bag at the top. Then two medium wiggle eyes on the front of the bag. Cut a round nose from the pink craft foam. Glue the three white chenille stems just below the bunny's nose to make whiskers. Cut them down, if necessary. Use the pink chenille stems to create the Easter bunny's mouth. Add any additional decorations you like to your Easter bunny bag.

Easy Easter Basket Craft for Children

Find a large wicker Easter basket, some pom-poms, cotton balls, construction paper, scissors, double-sided tape and glue. Draw some large Easter bunny ears on a piece of white construction paper. Be sure that they're proportionate to your Easter basket. Then draw the same bunny ear shape, only slightly smaller, on a piece of pink construction paper. Glue the pink Easter bunny ears on top of the white ones. Then draw some white almond-shaped Easter bunny eyes on the remaining white construction paper. Make some eyeballs in any color you like. Cut these out and glue the Easter bunny's eyeballs to the whites of the eyes. Tape the bunny's eyes to the front of the Easter basket. Tape a pink pom pom to make the bunny's nose and two cotton balls to make the bunny's cheeks just below this. Tape the ears on the inside of the Easter basket.

Easy Easter Card Craft for Children

Your loved ones will really appreciate a homemade Easter card from the kids. Get some 9 by 12 inch construction paper or heavy card stock in an Easter color such as yellow. On a separate piece of green construction paper in a different spring color, draw an egg shape. Make sure this egg will fill the majority of the front of the Easter card. Then trace over this egg shape on several other pieces of construction paper in other colors, such as pink, yellow, white, blue, purple and orange. Cut apart each egg except the first one you made in a jagged zig-zag shape. Ensure that each egg is cut in a different place. Use a glue stick to adhere these Easter egg zig-zag decorations to the front of your green egg. Then glue the decorated Easter egg to the front of the card. Write an Easter greeting in colored permanent marker on the front of the card and include a personal message inside.

Easy Easter Egg Craft for Children

There are several Easter egg decorating crafts you can do with the kids. One of the easiest is to make Easter egg chicks. Hard boil the eggs before you get started. Draw a feather pattern on the eggs with white or clear crayon. Dip them in yellow dye. Attach some yellow craft feathers to the sides of the Easter egg chicks' bodies. Paint two heart-shaped wood pieces in orange paint. Create a small tail for the chick out of yellow felt. Attach the Easter egg to the chick's feet and the tail to the back of the chick with hot glue. Do this step yourself; don't allow young children to handle a hot glue gun. Then paint a simple orange triangle and two black eyes on the chick's face.
