Disagreeing with Policies
In a world where each and every one of us has to strive to achieve the ultimate status as well as gaining power, standing alone against the policies of the company you work for takes much guts and respect to propose the ideas and changes that you wish that the company would take into consideration.
Backstabbers unfortunately make a great percentage in companies and genuine smiles are usually hindering lots of deceipt by which they will use you. Managers will take your good suggestions and take them to higher levels for which they will be praised for and your bad suggestions will also be passed on for which you will be frowned upon. It is not a pleasant world, the work one and nevertheless, it is very hard to decide whether it's a good idea or not.
I've been one to voice my concerns about injustices and lots of wrong-thinking that takes place on the job. However, I never felt it was beneficial for myself. To say that my concerns have fallen on deaf ears is an understatement in itself but I'd much rather put it out there for a mere considertion of a second than not to say anything at all.
Needless to say, if you feel that the policies are unjust and that they eat at you even when you're away from the desk, maybe it is time to start looking for a job where you will be respected for your ideas. It is not an easy task though as corruption lingers in every corner of this society.
You should always be careful with your words of choice. You do not want to come across as ungrateful for the job you have and that you try and come out as respectful towards your employers. You need to gain a certain trust between you and the employer but always hold yourself back from revealing too much, knowing too well that your opinion might come back to haunt you at a later stage in your career.
Do not set out yourself too short. If there is a way that you can skip management and speak to a higher power with regards to your concerns, it would be ideal since they will appreciate your worries about the company's directions. The employees are key in establishing change within the job they work for as long as it is on the beneficial side.
