Best Body Styles Produced by American Automakers

From 3arf

American automakers have, in my opinion, been given a bum wrap for years! Who says the Americans can't design a sharp car and offer fuel economy and value at the same time?

Here are five options, from which any discriminating American car buyer may select a well designed, 'made-in-the-USA' automobile spanning several categories from luxury to family-friendly to sporty!

When Chrysler rolled out it's 2010 models, three body styles stood out, all of them "classic":

1) The Chrysler 300: MSRP beginning at $28,010. This lady has toured the block previously but, has never been appointed so regally!

The interior boasts large legible gauges, LED lighting on the console cup holder, satin aluminum accents, and walnut burl trim. Glove-soft surfaces surround it's passengers on dash and doors. Available in seven amazing colors in either pearl or, metallic finishes, - this automobile affords dynamic design, innovative technology, and competitive fuel economy (26 HWY). This is a car for those seeking value, as well as safety, comfort, and style.

2) PT Cruiser Classic: 150 horsepower/ 24 HWY. In keeping with current 'vintage' appeal, this little baby's bold retro design turns heads!

Step inside and find surprisingly contemporary appointment in the form of Satin Silver accents on the instrument panel. And, check out that ride, - smooth touring feel is thanks to MacPherson Strut front suspension. Ahhh...

3) Sebring Convertible LTD: It's Retractible Hardtop is out-of-this-galaxy!

A humongous trunk, automatic headlights, universal garage door opener, and optional windscreen (to protect the ladie's hairstyle) will rock your world. With 29 mpg hwy, this slope-styled honey tauts both comfort and convenience. A virtual must view! (See it online at the dealership's site.)

4) Town & Country (luxury mini-van): Not much one can do to jazz up a mini-van, you insist? Look again, my doubting friend!

Considering it can transport seven comfortably, tow up to 3,800 lbs., and offers the only smooth shifting, fuel efficient SIX-SPEED transmission (Autostick), - I'd say this old girl isn't selling it's owner any 'bill of goods'! Even if it can't compete with the others for exterior style, it's interior more than makes up for it. Listen up: Choice of leather or, stain repellent seating, wood accents, overhead ambient lighting (adding a soft glow in which to monitor the 'munchkins'), retractible table, a second row of seats that swivel180 degrees to face the third row, plenty of floor storage, and an integrated child booster seat. And, the third row of seats disappears into the floor at a touch of a button!

Finally, Ford unveils it's best offing, - a sport car that is both fashionable and affordable:

5) The Mustang: With ten models from which to choose, ranging from $20,995 (V6 Coupe) to $51,325 (GT500 Convertible), almost anybody can drive one of these sweethearts!

With an ALL NEW exterior and interior design, it's sure to be a winner on and off the road. A velvet-touch one-piece instrument panel with cool ice blue interior lighting arrests you as slip inside. The leather wrapped steering wheel beckons. Bright aluminum accents, along with striped seating (some models) stirs the senses. For a real blast, check out the GLASS ROOF (optional) for that 'panoramic' feel.
