Being Single Helps in Building Career
Every aspects of life always comes with a mixed bag of some advantages as well some disadvantages and percentage varies from aspects to aspect. As we have to face the thorn while plucking a rose, life being not custom made we have to face several consequences for everything. Marriage is an important aspect of life and so is career. One is sensitive and relates to our heart whereas the other relies more on our brain. But a perfect simulation of coordination between both is important to have a perfect life.
To grow in career we need to dedicate sufficient time and energy to it. This is applicable for most of the professions. One need to concentrate, relate, understand every bits and pieces of his or her job to perform the best. However, when one has a companion, they need to share their time equally among work and home and that might result to less dedication to work. It is natural to have tensions and complications in day to day life and more so in case of family persons.
There are very few people who can have complete control in themselves as in not to take work tension to home and tension of home to reflect is their performance. As family life is not 'an all time honeymoon', in perceptive of career growth it acts mostly like an negative inducer. Especially for girls, after getting married they have to cook how much ever tiring it might be at office and take care of the household to prove themselves as a caring wife. Then to fulfill the demand of the family they have to think about family planning which make them take long leaves and ultimately they end up dedicating less time for their career. They start leaving office early, missing office get together, socializing in office and etc which are very important for corporate growth. As a result in spite of having equal interest towards career building, they have to take care of the need of the society. But all these are not applicable when a person is single. They are free bird and can dedicate there full time in career building. They need not to worry what vegetable is there in the fridge, when to pick up children from school and what to cook after going back home.
The change of focus is a common case for all married people and there is no fault in that. For men also their are certain challenges which they have to face after marriage. They also need to take care of the need of their family and spend more time in shopping, dinning out, going back home in time and etc. The part of the brain they used to remember important figures then gets used up in remembering important dates and occasions. And in case where they fail to do so, they get affected by discordance and depression which equally affects the output work wise. So might be for some it is more, whereas more for many, but marriage does affect career for most and it is a proved fact. That is why many people are opting for divorce and separation these days. So unless a person is not enough responsible and organised to handle everything properly, it is always better to stay single and at least during the building phase of ones career.
