Avoiding Paid Survey Scams
How to Avoid Paid Survey Scams: I think most of us that writing on the web are honestly trying to earn some extra money in a fun, new way, but there are a lot of new sites out there that are trying to take advantage of people like us! Here are a few things that I have found out as I have been doing surveys online to make extra money. First, please realize that making money online is not really that easy, as many of us have come to realize! If it were really that easy, everyone would be doing it, and no one would leave their homes again! Taking surveys for money is actually a legitimate way to make money from home, but there are good sites and bad out there, and many sites will try to take advantage of you if you are not computer-savvy.
When you are looking to make money online, you may come across about a thousand or more ads for you to do paid surveys and make money from home. Many of these links will take you to a site where you pay to be a part of a company that will direct you to paid survey sites for a fee. It is a good idea to check these sites out on www.ScamX.com. This is a great site where you can input the name of the company and check out any reviews before you give them your hard-earned money.
If you want to sign up for a paid survey database that will give you access to hundreds of paid survey sites that are actually fine. I signed up with PaidSurveysetc, and for a low fee of $24.00 (not very much in my opinion!), I got access to HUNDREDS of site in which I could sign up to receive surveys. When looking into a company to give your information to do surveys, I have found that the more legitimate ones are the research sites. These sites will not promise you big bucks, usually, but will send you surveys in your email inbox if you meet their qualifications. You have to be patient for these surveys, but they are the ones you will most likely make money on, and they usually just send you a check!
"Free Offers" are not always free! This is a big scam that you can avoid by reading the SMALL PRINT! If you are signing up for a trial, or samples, or whatever, read on to see if these people will later charge your credit card or if you will keep receiving things! Don't EVER give a site your information without checking it out first. BE SMART!6 Be aware of large banners in the middle of the page that seem like you have to fill them out in order to go on. These can be avoided by scrolling down to a link that says "no thanks", or the like. Do not put information into a banner unless you want this offer!
