Autos – No
The big three corporations that some believe are U.S. vehicle makers are now nothing more than multinational corporations who desire to sell their products to the people of the entire World. For the last forty years they have slowly reduced the number of factories and also the number of people here in the United States of America who made those automotive products for each of the big three auto makers.
From the point of view of the management of those multinational corporations, the cost of labor of U.S. citizens and all of those pollution regulations, that cost big bucks to install and maintain within the United States of America, prohibits their ability to compete in the World transportation vehicle market.
Just like if it was truly planned, like what did happen after the 1973 Arab Oil Embargo. Tens of thousands of people lost their jobs within those U.S. auto plants because a World depression is causing all of the big three to maybe go out of business. So now, some our jobs will have to be sacrificed.
Never mind that the products that they do make are truly inferior and cost as much or more than a foreign vehicle. Never mind that tens of millions of the people of the United States of America are in danger of becoming homeless because they don't have a job, or even the possibility of getting a job within the near future.
The management of the big three doesn't care, and neither does the management of those other multinational corporations, those oil companies in particular. Nothing and no one but God and our Government can save us from that kind of behavior.
There is one thing that you most certainly can believe is that if the big three do go out of business, that will not happen if "We People of the United States of America" are all back to work and earning a reasonable wage. That is, if we again had money left over to buy those over priced vehicles, after paying for all of the necessities of life that keeps all of us healthy and alive.
From my point of view the management of the big three should completely leave the United States of America so that they can further reduce the price of their vehicles, but you better believe that I'll never again buy one of their products. Yes it probably won't be any better that any other vehicle that I could buy in the market.
Yes, and it is truly time for a new U.S. car company who will employ U.S. workers to produce each and every one of their products, hybrid or not. You can also believe that a whole lot of people who will then have a good job will be buying one of those products as well.
