Automobile Exhibition Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center China
I fortunately attended Shenzhen's biggest automobile exhibition. It was opened at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. In the past couple days, I worked overtime continuously. Eventually, I spared some time to write a few words about it.This exhibition held at June 2, 10:00 am. When I got there by subway, I found out that there was already huge crowd of people. The first scene impressed me was not the unique designed exhibition hall, but lots of ticket scalpers who hawked their tickets untiringly. This expo combined the 11th Shenzhen International Automobile Exhibition and the 6th Shenzhen Motor Carnival. It showcased dozens of vehicles ranging from luxury brand BMW to domestic brand BYD.I wandered among various exhibitive platforms. Brands including BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Ghibli, Lufeng, Geely, Cherry and Shuguang all unveil new models. Most of the exhibitors used high-grade stereo sound system to attract people's attention. Actually, each booth has its own scenery, Shanghai Volkswagen even invited musicians to play violin and electronic organ. As my colleague was busy with taking photographs of girl models, I took a walk around. I found out that more than 10 vintage Hong Kong cars were on show, including one which once belonged to a former Hong Kong governor, and a Mercedes Benz once used by Hong Kong film star Chow Yun-fat. A Ford built in 1930, a 1961 Sunbeam Rapier, and a 1980 Rolls-Royce were also display. Then, outside the exhibition hall, I also caught sight of fantastic stunt car performances.Someone says, after the label "Made in China" is sticked on Benz, BMW, Cadillac, top grade cars in China has gone into a BBC era. (Benz, BMW and Cadillac).Others say, the club of top grade cars in China should be MBA (Mercedes, BMW and Audi). But I want to say that it's a pity China didn't catch up with the first, second industrial revolution. As s result of closed-cloorism, it missed the chance to build its own top grade automobile brands. In fact, the indiscriminate rejection of everything foreign, whether scientific, technological or cultural (including language), is not the attitude which I agree with, and I think it is of no benefits to our ideal. Fortunately, more and more people with will have dedicated themselves to the automobile industry these years and high technology has made automobile industry in China full of vigor. I wish China would maintain its sustainable growth rate and keep up with the development of the international automobile industry in the coming years.
