Paid surveys are without a doubt a scam. Despite the hundreds of people who claim that they earn their monthly income from filling out forms, there are far more that are not earning a single penny. Do any search of paid surveys online, and you will find that almost every single one of the websites has bad ratings from their users.There are also stories of a few elusive survey sites that are the best. Two of these sites come to mind, and they are very selective about bringing in new members. They don't do a lot of advertising, and they usually limit new members to referrals from existing members. If you actually ask the people who fill out surveys for these sites, they will tell you that they typically earn about $60-$100 a month, and not all of them earn anywhere near that much.The problem with the paid survey sites is that many of them actually cause their users to LOSE money, not earn money. Their surveys are not the typically surveys, but rather require you to invest a certain amount of money to make any money. They may have a weight loss survey that will earn you $16. When you follow the link you learn that this "survey" consists of only 6 questions, including one asking if you want to lose weight. Regardless of your answer, you are taken to an outside website where you are asked to buy a trial of their pills, for the low price of $4.95 or some amount to cover shipping.
Sadly there are a lot of people who think since they will eventually earn money from the transaction, it is worthwhile to make the investment. This just isn't true.
Many of the paid survey sites actually require that you make $50-$100 before you can request a payment. It can take you over a year to accumulate that much, especially if you only fill out the free offers. Then it will take you forever to receive the payment, and many people never do get paid.
If you need a way to make some quick money online, stay as far away from paid survey sites. They seldom work, and you may even find yourself losing money instead of making money.
