ALT-5 Top Ten Gifts You’d like to Receive
For me every day is a gift, so no other gift is as important. However, there are 10 other top gifts which would make my life near perfection.
1. To be given the cure for my diabetes. Though I am very healthy otherwise, I have inherited diabetes from my mother and grandmother and sometimes it can be debilitating. It would be lovely to wake up one day and not have to worry about its stability and progress.
2. Reconciliation with my children: Our marriage break-down has led to my children to taking sides, needing a scapegoat for their pain, which happens to be me. They have not spoken to me in a while and I would love to have them back now. To share the love we have always had between us and to affirm them as the wonderful and caring people they are. But, most importantly, to put the past behind us while we enjoy every new day of the future together, as different positive people.
3. Being with the guy I call the 'love of my life'. Our differing perspectives, and also personal fears, have led to different directions. But he changed my life for the better and helped me to this new point of confidence, understanding and empathy, to be the awesome person I am now. I am truly grateful for that and it would be lovely to carry on from where we left off.
4. Long life and good health so that I can carry on my work and innovations for quite a long time. Apparently we are capable of living up to 1000 years. I am not greedy, just 250 years would do nicely, thank you, so long as friends and relatives are a alive with me too!
5. The gift of perfect vision. It would be great not to have to wear glasses or contact lens, especially as I use my eyes so much in my work.
6. A photographic memory for everything I read. I am such a voracious eater of knowledge, I wish I had more time to simply absorb all the knowledge I can each day. Just being able to snap everything like a camera and store it would save so much hassle, especially when memory fails!
7. A New Age academy where interested students can learn about the power of their thoughts and how to use them to get what they desire. Most people don't realise just what power they have to make the life they want. Often they focus on the opposite of what they want then wonder why things keep happening which they could do without!
8. Having my young sister back. She died unexpectedly at 36 years old leaving three young children. It is always heartrending when someone dies so young with all their life ahead of them. I am sure she would be thrilled to see how her oldest daughter has turned out.
9. The gift of Love. We can never have too much love for ourself and others and I would like even more to share with the world when my natural fallible store is exhausted.
10. A trip to Hawaii. I have always loved the sound of that island, the way the people live and would love to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy something entirely different from what I am used to.
