ALT-4 Good Gifting Spend Time instead of Money

From 3arf

It has been said that spending quality time with one's family will ultimately strengthened your family's bonds.  Yet, what about those legions of families whose on-going struggle to meet the basic needs of their lives have forced them into a conundrum in which they become dependent on the welfare system?  Therefore good gifting, especially at this time of year, is better served by spending quality time with a needy family instead of putting your money where your heart ought to be.

The holiday season should be more than buying those expensive presents for your loved ones and significant others in your life.  It should be a time in which the message of God's love truly flows from heart to heart.  That message is without the outward croppings of what you can do for the least of those among us.  By doing so, your holiday spirit will rekindled the meaning and purpose of what the baby Jesus came into the world to do.

Gifting is a tried and true concept. You don't need to be a Christian in order for that concept to work in your life.  There are many religions, albeit, many philosophies the world over that have put that concept into a practical application of helping the least of those among them.  From the Prophet Muhammad to the Dali Lama, the concept of gifting have been reactivated in the aforementioned followers' lives.  Any religion that serves its purpose have always championed the cause of the poor within their midst.

So we can see how gifting works in drawing all people toward a common humanity.  And this is regardless to your race, creed or national origins.  But getting back to the topic of what this article should be about:  That of spending (quality) time instead of money with a needy person or persons in order to authenticate the concept of gifting in your own life.  If you do so, then you will not only brighten this holiday season, but all holiday seasons from this day forth and forever more.

Finally, so why not spend some quality time with those legions of souls who still feels that the world is an unjust place for them.  If you do, you will not only brighten their day but your own day of serving in such a selfless capacity will be more meaningful and much more appreciated.  This is something that anyone would do.
