ALT-4 Best Ways to Make Money using the Internet
Making money on the internet seems to be easy for some, and hard for others. A lot of how much you make depends on your mind set and what you wish to accomplish. If you only spend a few hours a week or less you will make very little money. If you can dedicate several hours a day to the internet then you might just make it into that lucky few people who hit it big. I am relatively new to making money online and I am still in the process of finding the best ways to maximize my earning. These are the things I have discovered that do work and how much effort is required.
Stock Photography
Stock photography is one of the best ways to make money online. Even with a point and shoot camera you can produce images that will sell and make money. Granted having a DSLR camera and better gear will make it easier but you can still make money using your old point and shoot. Some good stock photos sites to look into are: istock.com, gettyimages.com, shutterstock.com and featurepics.com.
Photos in general
Photos of local attractions can you bring in a small income. Take a picture of local attractions, schools, unique buildings or the park. Post these on sites like Triond.com, shareapic.com, or associatedcontent.com. You get paid as people view your pictures. Add in good tags and keywords so that people can find them while searching the Internet.
Articles
Writing articles has by far been the least effort for me with the biggest return. You will not make money instantly but you can earn a decent residue income. If you stick with it and write and article or two a day your income will rise to the point that you get a nice check each month. The good news is that once you stop writing your income will still come each month. Sites that I recommend for article are: helium.com and associatedcontent.com.
Things I would stay away from
I have not found a single legitimate survey site that was worth the time if took. Most of them require enough time to take a survey that by the time you factor that in you, have made less than minimum wage. You also get no residual income from these type of sites. I would also recommend that you stay away from anything related to getting paid to click links or read emails. Again these do not pay more than what you would make doing minimum wage.
