ALT-3 Top Ten Gifts You’d like to Receive
The top ten gifts I would like to receive. Of course, everyone has dreams and wishes of things that are unobtainable. Therefore, I will begin with a few we all know could never come true. The first gift I would like to receive is the return of my youth. Although I do not consider myself old, at age 50 I find my self a half-century-old. That sound's odd. However, I have had a stroke, and the people who took care of me were wonderful and I feel more like I am 30. But, no matter what I am still a half-century-old
My second gift being as these are my unobtainable gifts would be to make sure my family is healthy and happy everyday of their lives. . The gift of health and happiness for my family is something every mother hopes and wishes for her family. I have a number of health problems. My third gift I would like to receive is my health returned.Still working on the unattainable gifts I would like to receive is to reunite with all my friends and family, to stay close and keep them near. I miss so many of them. Each one brought something special into my life. I would love to have the gift or rediscovering my friends from my past.
Now that the fiction is out of my system, I would like to receive photos. Photos of the times I remember, photos of my boys growing up, the silly times, the fun times, the hard times. Over the years, I have lost track of many of my photos. They are spread throughout my family and I would like to receive a book full of the photos from my past. I have six boys, for my sixth gift I would like to receive a photo with all my sons, their wives, and my grandchildren all standing together, all in one place to be captured in a photo that I would treasure for the rest of my life.
Now, since I am in college, I would like the gift of knowledge. I would like to receive my degree without interruption. I would like to receive the gift of patients, organization and for time to fly so I can start my life in my new profession. Number eight I would like to receive the assurance that when I do complete my education I am guaranteed a position in my field. I believe anyone who graduates from college worries about finding a job for what he or she spent time in college.Number nine, I would like to find a person who accepts me, someone who wants to spend time with, and cares about me, not what I can do for him. I want to have a mate for life to share the happiness and obstacles that come with day-to-day life. Share family, friends, all the good and bad time together.
Finally, I would like to receive a selfish gift. I am easy to please. However, I have never traveled. I would love to receive a gift that would allow me to see the world. I would enjoy taking a year to see different cultures. Enjoy the wonders of the world in person instead of reading about them or watching a program about them. How wonderful would it be to see Paris at night, or the Alps in Switzerland? I would love to go to Africa and volunteer my time, or even travel the United States. I believe I would like to meet people in many cultures and understand the diversity of our world, and along the way, maybe I could help someone live a fuller life. These are the top ten gifts I would like to receive, how wonderful life could be if I would be given just one.
This is an update to this wish list I wrote, I would happily give every wish I made for myself away, my youngest son was killed on June 14, 2010, one day before his 21st birthday. If I had a million wishes, I would wish the Lord would have taken my life and let him live on. He was just beginning to become a thoughtful wonderful man, and I would trade my life if only....my life will never be the same. I believe in God, but do not understand why things work the way they do. I know my son is in a better place and it is my selfishness that wants him to live a life on Earth, but I am so ill and he was so young. The only wish I will ever wish for again is to kiss him just one more time..
