ALT-3 Thanksgiving

I always think of families coming together and giving thanks and having a great time, and eating like a crazy is what I love to do. I probably gain about 20 pounds every Thanksgiving, which thinking about that is stressful, but I don't care when I biting into that turkey leg. If you want to have a stress free holiday. The first thing is not to plan to much, because plans rarely survive, so just go with the flow. You should invite the family with a nice invitation.

1. Keeping a positive attitude

2. Being friendly to family and guests

3. Be patient, it will all come together

4. Bring up interesting conversations that are not insulting

5. If you can't cook homemade, cater it

If you can't cook like me, why not cater. Catering can't go wrong, but as for my family southern tradition is to make everything homemade. Homemade food is exciting to make when taught. You don't want to be serving burnt biscuits and a turkey that is still raw. That would definitely not be good, especially if your meeting people with first impression. I make sure if I volunteer to cook. I know at least how to follow a recipe book. Thanksgiving should not be a time for stress unless you have a family that loves drama. My family has their clicks, and when we all come together. You can feel the tension in the room, but I am just there trying to have a good time and get fat. Why should there be stress with cherry pie on the table. I am getting hungry just writing this article.

this Thanksgiving, go out and buy your food, and start cooking early, and just stay positive, and don't complain or be negative. Give thanks to what your blessed with, and give to others, and thank them for loving you. Everyone knows that stress is reality, and it sometimes cannot be controlled, but just do your best. Life is short so treat everyday as precious as you can. You should try to get rid of all the stress and smile and say hello to someone. I always try to give hugs, and tell people stories. this usually lowers stress.

This year is coming to an end, and with Halloween still coming up. Thanksgiving is around the corner. Be sure to save up, and start reading those recipes, or you can just be like me, and just feast from other peoples houses. Every year I usually go to my families Thanksgiving, and then to a friends house. I know thats why I gain so much, but hey, I have an excuse. Everyone throw out the diet, get rid of the stress by making it a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.
