ALT-3 Creative Valentines Day Gifts and Date Ideas

From 3arf

Being creative on Valentine's Day is a sure bet when you want to show your sweetheart that you love her. If you have loads of money, be sure to shower your beloved with flowers that have simple cards attached. A very simple declaration of love or a smiley face is all you need on these cards. After sending many flowers, be sure to get a piece of expensive jewelry with a message engraved on it. Also, schedule a few hours in a day spa for your lovely sweetheart.

But that's only if you're loaded.

If you are strapped for cash, here are some other thoughts. First, it takes preparation. So buy a dozen roses the day before and hide them somewhere. Then, during the night while she is sleeping, attach a simple message to EACH rose and then hide each single rose somewhere she will find them during the day. Her drawer, the closet, her car... and so on. Don't buy jewelry. Don't schedule a spa visit. You schedule your entire evening for her. Make her dinner unless you have no idea what you are doing in the kitchen. If that is the case, buy some pre-made things and bring them home. This is both cheaper than a restaurant and also more intimate and shows greater planning. Then YOU give her a massage. Use oils sparingly. (And this is only if you are married.)

When all is said and done, it is the thought and sincerity and time spent that makes the day special. Not the money.
