After a lot of trial and error in my attempts to earn money on line by writing articles over the last two years, I have come to the following conclusions:
The first thing that one needs is patience, and a lot of it because writing articles for whichever web site is not going to make you earn a living overnight. One has to be constant and write at least 5 new articles a week with a view to increasing the number of your articles on a constant basis.
Unless you have the luck to be writing on a topic that is the number one search term that absolutely everyone on Google is looking up you really can't expect to earn very much during the first year or two. Look at this period more as a time for laying down the foundations, a time for letting people get to know you and for those readers to like your work and to come back time and again to read your articles.
In order to make money on line by writing, your articles also have to be of good quality, without any spelling or grammar mistakes and be of topics that are of interest to people, for example I don't imagine that too many people would be that interested in an article about the best way of washing up a plate whereas write anything about Megan Fox you are almost guaranteed to get quite a few readers! It all comes down to what is popular.
It all boils down to the fact that the more readers you get to each article the more money you will earn and so likewise the more articles you have, the more readers and the more money! And always the key is to write articles that readers are looking for because that way you can ensure that you get hits to most of your articles on a daily basis.
This kind of money does not allow you to hand in your notice, if you are so lucky to still maintain a job, but it can go a long way in helping out with some of the monthly bills. It could pay off the electricity, water and possibly even the telephone, so at the end of the day it is a real big help.
This author has been writing for two years now and after a lot of trial and error has found that Helium.com, Hub Pages and Triond.com seem to pay quite well and use Paypal in order to give you your earned payments. They are also easy sites to use and are not as restrictive as some other sites are when it comes to accepting new members. You just always have to remember to try and write quality and nothing that is pornographic or offensive to the majority of the public.
Now if, as mentioned before, you are astute enough to think up real interesting subjects to write about. then I would imagine that you could earn a nice monthly sum, so keep patient and keep on writing.
