Transcribers listen to questions recorded by customers who call ChaCha's toll free number (1-800-2ChaCha) and ask questions, then convert the questions into text form for generalists and specialists. A transcriber makes .03 per query.ChaCha offers two different methods of payment: direct deposit or a ChaCha debit card. In order to set up direct deposit through a pre existing bank account, you will need your account and routing numbers. Your earnings are deposited on the 15th of every month so long as you meet the minimum earnings requirement of $150. There is no charge for the direct deposit option. The second option is to receive a debit card through ChaCha. This requires you to set up a new account through The First Online Bank of Indiana. Then you will need to request your ChaCha debit card. This option does allow the convenience of withdrawing your earnings at any time through an ATM.
