ALT-26 Make Money Online
Defining success is the first step in determining whether or not you can find that success. Are you hoping to earn enough money to quit your full-time job with benefits? That will be incredibly difficult. Or are you simply looking to make a few bucks in your spare time? That is much easier and there are several websites that you can use in that search for success.
The first website I ever came across in my search for success in working online was Money Making Mommy (www.moneymakingmommy.com). Whether you’re looking for survey sites, mystery shopping jobs, or online writing gigs, she has a good break-down of the available options.
After doing a lot of research and with the help of Money Making Mommy, I was able to find a lot of money-making websites with some decent success. There are a lot of scams that I wasted time and money on, but I’ve learned my lesson and have four go-to websites for earning money online.
1. Survey Spot (www.surveyspot.com). This was the first website I ever used and I loved it. But it stopped rewarding the respondents with cash, so I stopped using it. They’ve recently renovated the site and the reward program and it is already my favorite again. Survey invitations come directly do your email inbox. Most of the surveys only reward the respondents with sweepstakes entries, but I usually get at least one invitation per day with an actual point reward. Points are redeemed for cash at the rate of $.10 per point. It adds up quickly!
2. Global Test Market (www.globaltestmarket.com). This website offers the most paid surveys, but the rewards are generally not as high as Global Test Market. You can expect to get several invitations per day with rewards ranging from sweepstakes entries up to around $4 or $5. Most paid surveys have rewards in the range of $1.50 or $2. Again, these are rewarded in points which will later be redeemed for cash (1 point = $0.05, surveys generally 30-40 points)
3. Opinion Outpost (www.opinionoutpost.com). With rewards similar to the structure of Survey Spot, these surveys generally compensate at a higher rate than Global Test Market. However, I go a week or two without a survey invitation sometimes. There just aren’t as many money-making opportunities with this site.
4. Helium (www.helium.com). This is writing site and probably my favorite overall money-making site. The incentives aren’t as good up-front, but over time you will find that it is a much better investment of your time. The more you write, the more money you make. Helium shares their ad revenue with the writers. The more articles you have with advertising sold next to them, the more money you will make. The best part is that you will earn on those articles for as long as the article is active on the site. I recently went more than six months between writing articles and when I came back, I had almost $100 more in my account than when I had previously written. Not bad for doing nothing over that six months!
This was the list of my four favorite websites. I don’t have a lot of time to devote to working online, so these four keep me busy. There are others out there, but this will give you a good start. Good luck!
