What to choose when wrapping gifts? The most popular choices is either wrapping paper or gift bags. Well there are several pros and cons for using each of these. In comparison they both have many pros and cons for using them,and here are a few.

Wrapping paper comes in a very large variety of patterns, so your choices of limitless. Then wrapping paper makes the gift more personal than just putting it in a bag. You can personalize your gifts with ribbons and bows more effectively than the gift bags. Another thing is that it gives the receiver of your gift the impression that you went out of your way to make that gift special.

Some of the cons for using the gift wrap is the it can be expensive to wrap a gift after you add the tape and the bows and tag to the cost. It is also not very easy to reuse wrapping paper because it wrinkles which makes it hard to store. Added to that is the fact that wrapping is time consuming and it takes about two seconds for the receiver of the gifts to tear off the wrappings which can be a real let down if they don't appreciate the time you took into making their gift look special. So in conclusion bags cost a little more but can be reused over and over again but the paper is more personal and comes in a larger variety of patterns to choose from. They have become easier to use when covering a large present, and their cost can fit anyones budget. And last but not least they don't make a big mess and you can use the bags to carry the gifts home.

The cons for using bags is that the receiver of the gift may think that you just wanted to get the gift giving over so you took the easy road when it came to wrapping. It is also harder to personalize your gift if you just throw it in a bag. The most you can do is add some tissue and a bow.
