ALT-1 Watch out for the Paid Email Scam
How would you like to earn $500 for every link you click? Who could say no to an offer like that? The idea of making $500 for less than a minute of work is something few people, with the exception of Bill Gates will ever experience. Yet there are dozens, if not hundreds of websites out there that guarantee you will make anywhere from $100-500 just by clicking links in your email box. To further guarantee you will actually get paid, they promise payout at a huge amount usually $10,000 or $50,000.When you first see those ads, you might be tempted to go ahead and sign up. You figure the odds of receiving payment are pretty slim, but decide to chance it. After all, what is the worst that could happen?Now imagine someone tells you they want you to work for them for six months, but once those six months are up, they may or may not decide to pay you. Would you still risk your time? That is essentially what you are doing when you sign up for a paid email program.The only thing you can really do is to read and seek out more information on that specific program. There are a variety of websites out there that allow users to post their responses and thoughts on different get paid to programs. You can learn from former and current members as to if they were paid, and what they thought of their experience.
If you do plan to use one of these programs, prepare yourself to weed through your email every single day. I was using four different sites, and in less than 36 hours I accumulated over 800 messages in my inbox and spam folders.
You also need to realize you are not going to get rich using these sites unless you accumulate an extensive down line. This is everyone who signed up under you, and you get a percentage of their earnings. In that way the paid email site is more of a pyramid scam than anything else. The only people making hundreds, or thousands of dollars a month by using paid to programs are those who have hundreds of people signed up, and those that run and own the sites.
