Getting the right gift for your girlfriend can be a tricky one. You want a gift which gfives the right message, lets her know how you feel but not one which is simply off the cuff or a last minute buy. The first thing is to consider what your girlfrined likes.
Now, take it from me, most women like 1)clothes and 2)sweet things but it still needs careful thought. A box of expensive chocolates may not go down too well if she is trying to diet and 3)sexy lingerie can give the wrong suggestion - it might be something you choose for you but which she feels uncomfortable with.
Take hints - most girlfriends are very good at dropping hints about what they might like for Christmas. If she looks longingly at 4) a bracelet in a jeweller's window, she is probably giving you a hint. If, on the other hand, she marches resolutely past the lingerie section in the store, take that as a no!
Does she have any hobbies orintersts which you could buy something special for? 8)Tickets to a special event, to see her favorite band (even thogh they are not yours) show a lot of thought and that you are willing to put your wants second to hers. One of my friends is going to Take That because his girflfriend like them - he does not but is more than willing to put up with one night of listening to a band he does not like when the long term rewards are there.
If you are really stuck you can give something which is different but you can both do together like 9) adventure tickets for somethinglike rally car or 10) a hot air balloon ride.
Present giving at any time is hard but thought and planningmake giving at Christmas a real pleasure. Believe me, your girlfriend will love you for it.
