You only get married once, typically, and you want your special day to be one you will never forget. I did this at my wedding, and I have the most unbelievable snapshots from all directions!3)Many floral shops trim their flowers and throw away petals, you could ask them to save that for you for the flower girls. This would be low cost or no cost for you.4) Use nature. Have the wedding some place where you do not have to decorate and can merely use the scenery surrounding you. I was married on a gazebo at a lake. Behind us, people were boating, jet skiing, enjoying life, it was beautiful. I couldn't have dreamt of a better backdrop!5) I live in the south, so it kind of goes without saying, everybody pitches in. Allow your guests to bring a side dish if they offer. We had finger foods at my wedding, instead of a grooms cake, we had banana pudding, there was plenty of every thing to go around!6) Ask others for suggestions, alot of my friends and family jumped into help me out with ideas.7) Since my wedding was outside, the women wore simple sundresses that we already owned and were barefoot, the men wore shorts, my flower girls were too little to understand what was going on so we bought them fairy wings (you can get these at the dollar store) and called them butterflys.
