ALT-1 Social Networks that Pay you Money
You are probably familiar with some of the more commonly discussed social networks like Twitter, LinkedIn and others. FaceBook, MySpace and Twitter (as well as other social networks) offer users the ability to post links and status updates, however they do not pay directly for these links. There are however some social networks that pay you money for posting your links. Here are a few that you might be interested in.
SheToldMe- This site is a combination of social networking and social bookmarking site. Users are asked to submit an explanation of why they are interested in joining the site before they are given access. Once you have access to the site, you put your AdSense publisher number into your profile. To submit a bookmark, you write a "scoop" and place the link. Users of SheToldMe then vote your submission up or down. The more active you are on the site, the more likely you are to gain a following.
Referrals can also help increase your earnings from SheToldMe. For each user that you refer, your AdSense publishing number is included on their submissions as well. Earnings accrue directly to your AdSense account.
Xomba- Xomba is a combination of an article submission site, social networking site and social bookmarking site. Xomba is powered by your existing AdSense account.
