Do you think there are signs that it’s time to quit your job and pursue your dreams? Of course there are. Just like many things in life, jobs create stability. However, the hassles that come along with some jobs do make us aware that these signs exist and quite frankly, its time to move on. Let’s look at some of these signs and how they affect you and your dreams..Wake up dreading going in to workDo you wake up dreading going into your job? Is it because you are lazy or is it because you actually dislike the job you are at? If you dislike the job you are at, it may be time to consider quitting and going back to school to train for something new and exciting, or moving onto a job that you would prefer more, that is more of a dream job.Employees treated unfairlyAre you treated with respect at your current position? Everyone at any organization should be treated with respect. It is annoying to go into your job and work just as hard as everyone else and be treated like you are nothing. Sometimes you can be treated badly because of your race, gender, marital status, age, etc. . . .  These signs make it hard for a person to go to work every day with a smile on their face ready and willing to give 100% to their company.Company has a bad reputationDo you work for a company that has a bad reputation and treat their clientele badly? Does it make you wish you worked for someone else?  Companies should not treat their clientele badly. If you know what is going on is wrong, you need to get out of there before it gets worse. Do not get caught up in trouble with a company that is doing wrong.Not being appreciatedAre you not appreciated for the work you provide? Does someone else take credit for your work? These are things that do not make you feel like a worthwhile piece of the team. You start resenting being at this job. These are signs that this may not be the perfect place for you to work and you should consider quitting and pursuing your dream.Amount of payDoes the amount of pay that you receive warrant the amount of work you do? Do you receive pay increases for your performance? Have you been told, time and time again that you will receive an increase and one never comes? This too is a sign that this job may not be for you. It’s time to consider pursuing more of your dream job.In today’s economy, jobs are scarce and you have to have a job to survive. However, you should have the job of a lifetime where you are happy and your dreams are being pursued. Make it your goal to pursue your dreams!
