ALT-1 Online Surveys

Online surveys are an easy, inexpensive (sometimes even free) and worthwhile way for a business, organization or individual to achieve any number of ends!Online surveysare great for businesses to anonymously (or not) gauge how they are meeting their objectives and see how they are satisfying their employees or customers. On the other hand, organizations can use these online surveys to evaluate volunteer's performance and to get honest feedback from volunteers or populations that they are trying to reach, or an individual can use these surveys to get honest opinions about any number of things. Whatever you want to find out in whatever capacity- a survey can be designed to meet those needs! There are many different websites that offer online survey services. These include SurveyMonkey, Zoomerang and SurveyGizmo, among a lot of others; however, here we will briefly review just these three.SurveyMonkey is far and away the most popular online survey provider on the worldwide web today. SurveyMonkey is one of the original providers of online surveying and has remained its most prosperous purveyor. SurveyMonkey was officially launched in 1999 by Ryan Chris Finley, the websites creators, but today is a private company owned by David Goldberg. SurveyMonkey is fast and easy, two of the most valued traits in an online survey provider. In addition, SurveyMonkey's most basic plans are totally free, allowing it to become more accessible to the everyday consumer or small time business owner.Zoomerang is another online survey company that has not garnered as much attention as SurveyMonkey, but is equally fast and user friendly. Zoomerang offers a variety of survey templates and easy ways to input questions and view feedback. Zoomerang is probably the best online suvey tool of the three we will be discussing here and we aren't the only ones to notice! In 2000 Forbes named Zoomerang as one of the “Best of the Web” honorees.SurveyGizmo offers the same services as SurveyMonkey and Zoomerang, but has great benefits and less limited free options for students and non-profits, which alone makes it a great website to support for your online survey needs. In addition to a fairly extensive free survey option, SurveyGizmo offers a great amount of ways to view the results of your surveys, which makes the interpretation process much easier, and all services (if they aren't already free) are offered at great prices that won't break the bank. SurveyGizmo is great for in depth market research and analysis as well as straightforward surveys that do not require much analysis. All three of these very popular online survey sites are good at what they do- allow individuals to create surveys to fit their particular needs and to view the results in a straightforward manner. If you are looking for easy, straightforward and free survey services, I suggest utilizing SurveyMonkey. For in depth analysis and results that not online include the data but charts and graphs, I would suggest using SurveyGizmo, for a healthy dose of the two, or perhaps a service that is somewhere in the middle, Zoomerang will surely meet your online survey needs.
