ALT-1 Online Survey Sites that Pay
In pineconeresearch.com I have found an almost extinct trait. This is a survey site that rewards you frequently, quickly and relatively handsomely. I am a member of a number of survey sites including yougov and testandvote but, although they have their relative strengths, none can compare to pineconeresearch.com.
As a survey site it succeeds for several reasons. Firstly, unlike many other survey sites it does not go for all the bells and whistles many seem to deem necessary. When you register you will rarely find yourself needing to visit the site as once you have completed a number of, admittedly rather lengthy questions on your household including age of household members, pets and shopping habits you only need to log in to the site directly if you need to view the Frequently Asked Questions or have accidentally deleted your survey link.
After registering you are sent survey invites via email. All surveys apart from two minute pre-screening ones are paid. This means that more than ninety-per-cent of your surveys have a reward. Furthermore, every survey has a statutory award of four pound. No timing out or severing of payment if you do not qualify. If you are sent an invite you are paid. The four pound is paid in Accord Luncheon Vouchers. Now I will be the first to admit this does not sound very exciting. Luncheon vouchers sound like something you would get in primary school. However, they are as good as real currency in pretty much anywhere that serves or sells food. All the supermarkets I have encountered take these and even smaller local stores should too. Many will give change on them as well. I know our local Morrisons does. Vouchers used to be paid prior to completion of the survey but pinecone research.com have obviously decided too many people were not completing the surveys so now send them after survey completion. Fortunately, vouchers arrive very quickly and I have never had to wait more than four three days after completing a survey to receive one.
In my experience surveys are plentiful and I usually get one two a month. I have earned over fifty pound in just over six months and when I compare that yougov, in which it took nearly three years to reach the same amount, the rewards are excellent. I must point out however, that we are a large family of six with a variety ages from three to thirty-five. This may well mean that we qualify for a lot more surveys than a single person might. This is perhaps representative in the surveys which often involve input regarding our various shopping habits or one of our children's film habits. Surveys are all consumer based and usually contain questions on a particular product due to be released or recently on the market. Although surveys can be a bit repetitive and dull, especially those that are obsessed with product packaging, I have never known one to last more than twenty minutes and there are a good mixture of open and closed questions to answer. Surveys never time out and I have never had an error occur. As a supplementary perk many surveys often ask if you are willing to test the product you are being asked questions on. I have only received one product for testing so far but it is one more than I have received from the supposed test site testandvote!
Undoubtedly, the best survey site in terms of reward and survey frequency pineconeresearch.com does have some small niggles that I must mention. Recently, the majority of the surveys are only compatible with Internet Explorer. As a Mozilla Firefox user this does irk me as I access my survey via firefox only to have to access it again in IE. A more recent problem seems to be an incompatibility with pineconeresearch.com's surveys and IE7, the newest version of Internet Explorer. On every page of a survey IE will ask if you want to let the website access your clipboard. Something which trebles the length of the survey and is enough to make me switch back to IE6.
However, despite these niggles pinecone research.com is head and shoulders above the rest of the online survey sites. You will not be changing the world with your answers but for a site which offers frequent, reliable surveys and excellent reward, you cannot go wrong with these. Unfortunately, for you this is a not a site that you can join easily. I joined thanks to a banner ad on a cash back site but invites to join are few and far between. I would suggest hanging around sites such as moneysaving expert.com and looking for links there as if you do manage to join you could be quids in.
