ALT-1 Making Valentines Day Gestures more Meaningful
Valentine's Day lasts all day long, by remembering this and surprising your partner with small thoughtful cards, and gifts all day, chances are your evening will be a romantic one. It will also let your partner know how much you care.
When you want to be romantic and remind your partner how special they are to you there is one thing you can do that will make the entire day unique and the gesture more meaningful. Remember Valentine's Day lasts all day, so make it an all day occasion.
Be sure you have let your partner know the two of you are spending the entire day together. If one or both of you have to work that is OK this plan will be fun and work just the same.
Whether you live with your partner or not you can pull this off easily. Start slow in the morning. Make your offering early of just a romantic card and a small breakfast, if you bring it or cook it, it does not matter. Now your partner will feel as though you have given your wishes and showed your love. They may at this point give you their offering for Valentine's Day.
Plan to have lunch together if you are both working. If you are spending the entire day together it will make it easier to carry out your plan. At lunch, make a special yet small lunch, at this point you have another card, maybe a funny yet romantic card hidden under the plate or napkin. Letting them know you think of them always.
If you are able to spend the day together and neither of you need to work on that day, catch a movie of their choice, and give them a card or other trinket during the previews of the movie. Make sure you are making them aware this day is set-up special to please them, and to show how special they are to you.
Now it is late, dinner time, still Valentine's Day. You are getting ready for dinner again going out to the place where your first dinner date was, or some other place that is special to both of you. You have yet another card you will give them during dinner letting them know how special they are to you, and even give them a trinket of something you know they will love. Make the entire day center around your special someone and do not let them forget how much they mean to you.
At the end of the evening it is either home together where you can share one another, or you can take it where ever the two of you want, make this a Valentine's Day that neither of you will forget.
