ALT-1 How to tell which Car is right for you
Not all people match all cars, but there is an organized way of selecting a car.
Step 1, determine what type of money is available for the vehicle,don't put yourself in a bind.
Step 2, determine whether you want a new or used car, and if you will buy from a dealer or private owner. With a private owner you really don't have a warranties, if something happens you can only request your money back. New cars from a dealership come with a guarantee, as do some used ones. Be careful some used cars must be returned in as little as 5 days.
Step 3, look at magazines, newspapers, go to auto dealer websites and check out body styles, colors, etc.
Step 4, since gasoline is up in price, consider how much you want to spend on gasoline, and find out which car fits your budget, and consider the resale value of the vehicle. One day you may want another vehicle.
Step 5, You may want to take a long trip, so determine how much leg, and body room is needed seek out vehicles that fit you.
Step 6, Before signing any paper work, get a car fax report on the vehicle, and have a mechanic look at the car. If a seller acts funny about inspection of the vehicle shop elsewhere.
Step 7, some cars cost more than others to ensure, and some insurance companies charge more than others. Determine how much you want to spend on insurance, Also find out how much will the insurance company give you should something happen to the car.
Step 8, If you're buying from a private seller check the title, better yet request that you have the title examined by a local department of motor vehicle branch near you.
Step 9, If you must take notes, seek the best interest rate possible, and read the fine print. Be careful with unnecessary items that car dealerships may try to push on you.
Step 10, cars can last a long time if properly maintained, seek to tune your vehicle up at least once a year.
Remember suitability to your budget and required space, good guarantee,resale value and don't forget to check out the vehicle and title if buying from a private seller.
