Here are a few tips on how to get a web design job.
1. You must have a certain amount of skill and experience. Many employers will require at least 1+ or even 2+ years of experience with a job in web design. They will also want you to be skilled with designing websites. If you want a job in web design, then you will want to be good and rather skilled with web design.
2. You must have the right tools. Many people will use programs to help them write code, or an art program to help you design the graphics. I would recommend Adobe Photoshop for creating the graphics for that website. I will not recommend any programs for the coding part, because I do not believe that you should use a program. Most web designers will prefer you to able to code from scratch, and to be able to write it throughly.
3. You should have a portfolio, or folder of your work. Employers will want to see what you have done so that they will know what you are capable of doing. It is better to have a portfolio online, with your own website, because it just shows how much you are willing to do.
4. Be professional. When you are trying to get a web design job, you need to be professional. Many employers will want to see a portfolio of sorts, so let them see one. It is best you always have one ready to show. Also, you need to give a good impression and be truthful about what you are capable of doing.
5. Know who you want to work for. It helps to know the right people. If you have a slight idea of who or what company you want to work for. If you are just searching for a random job in web design, it will be harder to find. Although, many people who are searching for jobs obviously don't know the right people. Just have a slight idea of who you want to work for.
