ALT-1 How to Wrap a Gift
Even if the gift is going to be wrapped for an hour, there are many ways to wrap a gift and make it look perfect for the occasion and presentable. Wrapping a gift is an art, but the person doesn't have to be a professional in order to make their gifts look as good or even better as if a professional were to do it.
First, place everything that is going to be needed on a table or nearby to avoid making any mistakes or have to scramble around to get the materials. Then place the gift in a leveled area, preferably a table and pick out the materials in which the gift is going to be wrapped with. Now, there are many kinds of materials that can be used to wrap a present, and if a person chooses a paper bag or a decorated metallic plastic bag, which can be found in just about any store today then this next step is going to be much easier and it is going to give the person a lot more time to decorate it.
If the material to wrap the present with is a bag, then simply put the present inside the bag, making sure that it is big enough to cover the whole present and make sure that it is not a struggle to cover the present or tie a string or bow around it. When wrapping the present, the person has to make sure that there are not many creases on the bag, and that there is plenty of room to write down the names, or put a card on the front of the gift. Most paper and plastic metallic bags have room in front of them or come with a small greeting card where the person can put a special message on it.
So all that the person has to do is put their names or a special message on the card or bag and decorate it with string or put a simple bow on it to close it and they're done!
If the person is choosing wrapping paper instead, then the process is slightly longer but it can also be fun and easy. First the person has to extend the wrapping paper on the table and then put the gift on top of it. After this, the person has to cover the gift with the other part of the wrapping paper by moving it across the gift. When the present is covered, the person can cut the piece of paper that is going to be used, but first they can put a piece of tape on the first piece that they covered with the paper.
After the paper is taped to the present then the other piece of the paper can be taped to the gift. this way all that there is left to do is simply tape the smaller sides of the wrapping paper to the present. Then grab one part of the present and turn it over to the side of the gift that is going to be taped with the paper, all that there is left to do is fold the wrapping paper and fold it in half to make sure it doesn't make much bulge when taping it to the gift.
This step can be repeated for the other side of the gift and then all that the person can do is put a bow on it, or decorate it by putting strings on it if they please.
