ALT-1 How to Create a Special Fathers Day Card

From 3arf

Instead of browsing for a Father's Day card at your local store make a list of key points you would like to convey to your Dad.How thankful you are of his providing for youThe sacrifices he has made through the years for you.Make a list of certain instances that held those special moments that the two of you have shared. You might have to trim these ideas down to hold a few of these special times.Like the time he helped you with a homework assignment, etcTaught you to play softball or guitar, or taught you to play chess. If you have access to a computer and printer you can download free software that make wonderful cards. If not your school or local library might be able to help.Be creative, ask for ideas from other family or friends.Make this a special day with Mom and siblings as you all work together to create a card that will give Dad a boost.

Remember you only have but One Father, make this an event that keeps giving.Within the pages of your card you can print a photo of your Dad and you together. Include a coupon book either on the card itself or a page slipped within the card.Find things that are unique about your Father, ideas that will help him.Examples could be

  1. 1 couponClean the garage#2wash the car#3Breakfast in bedCome up with ideas that will thrill him and give him a gift that shows he is truly appreciated. Be sure that you are willing to comply to the coupons. You can add certain instances to redeem the coupon. For example only one "major coupon" as in cleaning the garage can be redeemed within a week, or month. This is to protect you so Dear Ole Dad doesn't redeem them all at once.(hehe)And don't forget, whether it's a humorous card or serious, be sure to tell himYou love him.Just a word of caution here, Your Dad will love this card so much he might expectevery Father's Day to hold the treasure of redeemable coupons.
