ALT-1 Fastest Money Making Sites
Ebay and Amazon.com are your best bets for making money on the Internet. If you have an ORIGINAL PRODUCT, a SKILL, or a SHOP and/or INVENTORY then you can and will make money on eBay and Amazon - without spending a ton of money to 'invest' in a business opportunity.
If you have an ORIGINAL PRODUCT - that you created, then you can market it on eBay. I know of one guy that wrote a 25 page beginner's guitar book and it's selling quite well on eBay. Maybe you can write and print up small batches of beginning piano, saxophone, singing, foreign languages, accounting... An intellectual product can also be sold on Amazon.com============================If you have any SKILL, then you can make money on ebay by following these three steps:1. Purchase broken down stuff on eBay2. Repair it3. Sell it via Specialist/Collector Auction Houses or re-list it on eBay
- Maybe you have a skill such as repairing things (cars, watches, furniture, jewelry...)
- The key to success in using your SKILL(s) is to buy your item cheaply enough to make money when you sell it - REMEMBER to estimate the cost of fixing it BEFORE you buy it. In many cases it's the labor costs that are the most expensive part of repairing an item. Therefore, if you're providing the labor, then your only real cost of repair is the supplies. You'll have a learning curve to get it right, but you can and will make money doing this.==========================================If you already have a SHOP and/or INVENTORY, then you can increase sales through eBay and Amazon.com (amazon.co.uk)
For example let's say you have a small shop somewhere in the world and you sell new and/or used clothing/books/toys.... then your best chance to increase sales would be eBay. You might consider opening an eBay store in order to list dozens of items and to increase your brand recognition. You can place a few items up for auction with no reserve to attract the largest possible number of potential customers, set up a monthly newsletter to be sent via email to everyone that chose you as a Favorite Seller... eBay will walk you through the steps of setting up a successful on-line store.
You may not have a shop, but can still want to sell inventory on-line. Let's say you decide to buy and sell used children's clothing, then sell several items at once, separated by size (example: 20 items, size 18 months boys, or 6 items, size 3T girls...)
All you have to do is take a photo of each item, describe it in a few words and post the lot up for auction with a very low reserve. You can visit thrift stores (charity shops), car boot sales (swap meets, flea markets...) regularly and buy items that are good sellers on-line - used clothing, car parts, silver, ceramics.
- antiques* make sure to join antiquestradegazette.co.uk or something like it so you can see what people are paying for specific antiques that you're interested in selling. A good bet is to buy on eBay and other on-line sites BUT SELL your antiques/good silver... at collector's/specialist auctions.
- good books (hard cover/financial/musical training/non-fiction...), then log onto Amazon.com and see what that used book is selling for. It's easy and cheap to do.
The variety of items you can choose to specialize in on eBay is practically unlimited. On Amazon and other book sites, it is limited but you'll probably earn better money for your books, manuscripts.. on Amazon because people have come to the site looking for something specific.
You don't have to be brilliant and you don't need a ton of money to start earning income on-line. My best advice is to start small, and keep your mouth shut about your new business - there are too many people out there waiting to tell you that it'll never work. I know for a fact that it does and so do a lot of other people. You've already taken an important step by reading up on the subject. Now, you just need to be flexible and willing to invest some time figuring out what's going to work for you.
Good luck and Best Wishes.
