The Internet lends itself to those who enjoy writing. Information is valuable to others if you can express yourself in an interesting manner. I write articles on the Helium writers site. Through my own knowledge base, and occasional research I am able to count on earnings that more than pay my Internet bills each month. Through contests at Helium, I have picked up an extra $100. or more some months by working harder.
Since I enjoy writing, I could expand my writing and publish my own website. With pay-per-click advertising it would be possible to increase my writing income, but that will have to wait until I have more extra time.

The very best way for the average person to make money on the Internet is to keep working at your regular job, and pursue a little extra money in your spare time. If your spare time income becomes promising enough to let you go at it full time, great! Just do not invest a bunch of money into someone else's promotion of how to make money, because you only end up making them money. In the end, do your own thing, on your own terms.
