ALT-14 Motorcyclists should always Wear Helmets – Agree
Nobody likes the "S" word....it's insulting, demeaning, and down right insensitive. But, what do you think those cops and paramedics are thinking when they're called to a survivable motorcycle accident only to find the rider dead of head injuries. "A helmet would have saved this guy....not wearing his helmet was just plain ..."Stupid". The "S" word is ugly, especially when it has to be used over your dead body.
FACT: 66% of fatally injured motorcycle riders were not wearing a helmet.
Nobody likes the "S" word, especially when it's used to stereotype a whole group of people. But, are some motorcycle riders so blind to the dangers that they need the legislature to tell them to wear a helmet to protect their own head? The inability to use common sense to make the correct choice may be a clear indication to lawmakers that some riders are...."Stupid". Don't you just hate the "S" word?
FACT: Motorcyclists are 21 times more likely to die in a traffic accident than car occupants, per mile traveled.
Nobody likes the "S" word, especially when others see you blasting down the interstate, in the fast lane, racing along at 85 mph, weaving through traffic, with your hair blowing in the wind....like a free bird. That is, until somebody cuts you off and you go flying through the trees head first....like a free bird. Let's hope that none of the drivers you passed are thinking the "S" word when they're stuck in a 5-mile traffic backup and they see your Medivac rescue helicopter fly overhead.

Nobody likes the "S" word, but if given the following choice....which one would you pick? But, first consider the responsibility that you carry on your shoulders. a. Protect my fragile brain with the best helmet I can buy.
b. Forget the helmet and let the wind blow through my hair and catch bugs with my teeth.

Well, this all looks "like a no-brainer". Yeah, that's exactly what it would be if you are to "Stupid" to realize that "a." is your only intelligent choice.
