ALT-12 Why the best Fathers Day Gifts Aren’t the most Expensive

From 3arf

Father's love heart felt gifts and presents that are perfect by being just what he needed or wanted. Even when it comes to something you made yourself by crafting it by hand. There is meaning behind gifts we hand make. It shows we care by taking the time we took to make it and those gifts are always precious keepsakes or something that is wore with pride. If you don't make things or don't have the time too that's okay. Think about what your father really needs or would really like to have and that would be a start to a gift worth giving.

It doesn't take a lot of money to know what your dad needs or wants. It doesn't have to be expensive to be appreciated. Some of the best gifts aren't more than thirty dollars. A typical gift at good quality runs about that much. You can get something worth having at that price. Fifty dollars also is a reasonable amount if you like purchasing things instead of hand making something.

Spending time with him on Father's Day is always a good way to show how much you care about him. It doesn't even have to be that one special occasion, but any day of the week. Dedicate time to him by doing something fun that you both can enjoy doing.

My father always loves to go camping and I enjoy spending time with him camping, fishing, and hiking around in the woods. We have a great time together enjoying nature and each others company.

He also likes to go exploring for fossils and this too I find fascinating and it shows him that I enjoy being around him and doing some of the fun things he likes to do; by me taking time out of my life to go with him exploring for fossils and picking up soap stone with him for carving. These are things in life that he finds pleasure in doing and I full-heartedly appreciate learning from him still even though I am all grown up. I find these hobbies of his very interesting and I still enjoy spending time with him and learning from him.

Those times with your father will become memories someday. If there were special childhood memories you had with doing something special with your father and it is something you two still could do together. Get to know each other again by what you both have in common. A hobby or something that can bring you two together like playing cards, chess, maybe golfing, or whatever it is that you two can do together. It would be a wonderful way to show your father how much you love and care about him and vice versa.

One day he will be gone and you will be left with memories. Make those memories special by taking time out today to communicate with him, to spend time together, to have fun together and share some good hearted laughs. That is what love is made of; happiness and genuine affection for another person.

Money doesn't buy love, spending time together and showing him that you are there for him and vice versa. That you are willing to help out, or be there for him is the most important gift anyone could ever give which, we call love.
