There are various bad reasons for quitting a job, and though each individual's reasons can be far worse than others, quitting a job for a bad or unjust reason, can be detrimental to your resume and employment history. Your resume and employment history is essential to the success and advancement of your career, so you should never take quitting a job lightly. Your employment history proves your stability and dedication to your career, and should be of utmost importance to an individual.
A bad reason for quitting a job could be that an individual dislikes their authority figures. Individuals need to realize that no matter who they gain employment with, there are most likely going to be people that they do not care for, but as long as the individual is being treated in the same manner as fellow employees, individuals should not terminate their employment solely for this reason.
Many people terminate their employment due to the fact that they have had a conflict with a fellow employee, and that employee is continually trying to cause them turmoil. Though it may sound far fetched it does happen frequently, and can cause an individual tremendous amounts of undue stress. Before making a decision to terminate their employment, an individual should go through the proper channels to ensure that they have no other option of removing this added stress from their lives. It going through the proper channels seems to have been no help, then finding another place of employment may be a good choice for an individual.
Unfortunately, many dead beat parents have discovered that if their wages are being garnished for the support of their children, they can simply quit their job, in order to escape from paying the support. Though it is despicable, irresponsible behavior, it does happen every day. Eventually these dead beat parents will be discovered to have started another job, and then again will start having their wages garnished. These dead beat parents believe that they are escaping the debt, but they are actually creating more debt by not paying it.
In closing, there are countless more bad reasons for quitting a job, and some will even include laziness, but the important thing to remember is that you can be proud that you are not one of these people. Being a hard working, reliable employee is something to be proud of whether your employers remind you of it or not.
