2013 Chevrolet Camaro

From 3arf

The2013 Chevrolet Camarolooks like a stunning muscle car.  It is also affordable with a manufacturers starting price of $23,345.  However, if you want all the bells and whistles you can expect to pay up to almost $58,000.  This sports car comes in many different trim levels including; coupe 1LS, coupe 2LS, coupe 1LT, coupe 2LT, coupe 1SS, coupe 2SS, coupe ZL1.  All trims are also available as a convertible version also.

Engine size starts with the standard V6 3.6 liter, that gets 323 horsepower.  Going up to the top Supercharged Gas V8, that makes a whopping 580 horsepower on the ZL 1 trims.  If you are opting to buy a sports car you really can't expect it to be the most economical vehicle when it comes to saving on gas.  Standard models of the Camaro will give you 17 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.  Of course, the higher the engine speed, the less gas efficiency you will get, therefore the top speed Camaro will reach only 14 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway.

Both the coupe and the convertible models are good at staying stuck to the road while cornering.  The Chevrolet Camaro handles tremendously well in any given situation.  There have been some complaints about poor visibility through the small windows.  The standard manual transmission is smooth and the coupe 2LS version has a standard automatic, which also climbs smoothly and progressively through each gear.

Interior wise, there seems to be a lot of disappointment at the poor choice of plastic and obvious overall cheapness.  There is barely any room in the back even if you do make the excuse that its a sports car.  The retro mixed with modern designed interior may appeal to some, but the majority of drivers are not impressed by it.  The back seat is not really a big deal, if you want enough room for family and luggage then choose a "family" car rather than a muscle car.  The Camaro is not made to be an ideal family car, it is built for speed and designed to look great.  On the other hand, Chevrolet could have been more considerate to taller drivers by inching up the head room.

Standard interior features include; satellite radio and bluetooth phone and audio streaming.  On higher models you have the option of a backup camera, navigation, rear parking sensors, and more.

If your looking for a great looking sports car, with good handling, then the 2013 Cheverolet Camaro could be exactly what you need.  The drawbacks of the good looks on the outside are the poor quality materials on the inside and lack of room.  It is not a car for grocery shopping or a mundane drive to church, it is a car for speed and fun.
