This deactivates half the engine's cyclinders in fuel saving mode when less power is needed. It is more fuel efficient at 20 miles per gallon. If this is more power than you are looking for, the Ram 1500 also comes available with a 4.7 liter SOHC V8 engine, or a 3.7 liter V6 engine. The bulletproof frame is made better with an advanced high strength steel which makes it stronger and lighter.
